Satoshi Thursday October 16th to feature a presentation by David Berger, CEO of the Digital Currency Council. The DCC provides Bitcoin education and certification for professionals (Lawyers, accountants, wealth managers, etc.) that wish to work in the Bitcoin industry.
Digital Currency Council – The Digital Currency Council, based in New York City, is the only organization providing training and certification to professionals looking to work in the Bitcoin space. CEO David Berger will be talking about the DCC’s progress since they started, their plans for the future, and outlining opportunities various professionals can take in the Bitcoin/digital currency space.
Their 5.5 hour online course is based on a curriculum that was created with input from a committee made up of professionals currently working in the Bitcoin space. Following completion of the course, members sit for a certification exam. As the Bitcoin industry develops, there will be demand for professionals in all areas of business. The DCC hopes to not only let companies know their candidates are qualified for work in Bitcoin, but also help set industry standards for what it means to be qualified.
